Kids’ Writing Prompts About the Fall

Fall Writing Prompts at Teachers Pay Teachers.

Getting kids to write can be a challenge, but with the seasons changing it’s a perfect opportunity to offer writing prompts about the fall. The weather here in North Carolina is starting to shift, with cooler mornings replacing the lingering heat, and the vibrant green of summer giving way to shades of orange and brown. It’s a beautiful time of year that kids notice too! As they settle back into the school routine, they can express their observations and excitement about the season through writing prompts about the fall.

To capture this, we created a fall-themed writing prompt product. With five different prompts, pages with and without guided handwriting letters, and plenty of space to draw a matching picture, students can explore their impressions of the season’s special elements.

The Writing Prompts Included Are…
